I'm sorry I fell behind on my weekly Challenge update. Work and travel got the best of me in the end of January. But thanks to some nameless friends....ummm Lauren! Barbie!....its time to get back to it!
The Challenge:
The 30 day fitness challenge overall went very well! It did what it was meant to do by getting me into different types of exercising and not just running all the time! I did more gym classes including cardio and strength training and honestly had a good time doing it all! I'm not going to lie though, it was HARD making yourself do something eeeeeeveryday! AND honestly there were a total of 5 days in January were I didn't do anything. Two of those days I was sick but the other 3 I just decided to give my body a rest! But hey, 25 days of exercise out of 30 ain't too shabby! All in all, I'm happy with my challenge!
Stats: Weight stayed the same. I went up about two pounds in the middle of the month for about a week, But happily they have gone bye bye again!
The Move:
Yep! You read right, we moved! Crazy I know but we couldn't be more excited about this next step in our lives. An opportunity presented itself for a house that we have loved for over 4 years and we couldn't pass it up. So with very very heavy but happy hearts we made the BIG MOVE approximately 2 miles from our previous home! I love the new house, it's exactly what we wanted and needed room wise and will be a place for our family to grow in the future!(hence future, not right now!)
I really didn't think it would hit me as hard as it did but saying goodbye to our home of 5years(to the date, kinda bazaar right?) was very hard on the heart. Many tears were shed of memories we shared there. We came home from our honeymoon to that house, brought our Chevy boy home and most special of all...our miracle baby came home to that house! Those memories of Reagan's "firsts" were the ones that brought the tears ah flowin! But as my sweet hubby told me, "baby, we will have so many more firsts in the new house as well!" He's too sweet, he even shed a couple tears when seeing Reagan's beautiful little nursery for the last time. I know its just a house, but i guess it was so much harder because I feel as though that house made us our family and I will cherish all those memories in my heart forever.
But again can i say, We LOVE our new house! I promise I will post pictures soon, but for now were still unpacking and organizing quite a bit! We had our WONDERFUL friends, The Mollison's and The Dixon's help us move the whole weekend! We couldn't have done it without them and it made things fun! We joked and carried on most the time, eat, drank and tried to make moving heavy furniture and unpacking as entertaining as possible! We are blessed with amazing friends who gave up their weekend to help us get settled. We even painted Reagan's new room Saturday night so it would be perfect when she came to her "new home" Sunday afternoon!
We have a busy couple months coming up filled with fun! Birthdays to celebrate, our much anticipated mountain trip with friends, Kelly's Kids shows to host, new family babies to meet and races to run! Stay tuned for all to come!
Happy Love Month!
