Just because today is my first actual day off it still started at the crack of dawn! Reagan didn't get the memo that Mommy didn't have to work this morning! We were up having breakfast and playing at 6:30am. We played till around 9am but I still took her into daycare. I have a lot of odds and ends to finish up for my close out. Car is getting picked up, computer, printer and samples are being boxed up and ready to go, etc...
After today I should be completely done. I do have a busy week though of interviews and such so I don't see any rest in my future! But that's okay...it's how I prefer!
Anywho...
We had a fun weekend of friends and football! We took Reagan to FreeBoot Friday night. Emily Minor Band was playing which was a big surprise to me and I was SO excited! Seriously this girl is talented...She just moved with her band out to Nashville, TN and I really think she's going to hit it big! Reagan met a little friend who was a couple months older and they were just adorable together. They kept holding hands and dancing to the band! This is such a fun age!
Saturday morning after we had a little family time, Chad drove Reagan to BaBa's house to stay the night since the ECU game was so late. I went running, ran errands and made some dips for the tailgate while he was gone. We headed out to the tailgate around 2:30 for a full day of fun! ECU and UNC played at 8pm and this game was far from a Pirate victory...actually it was down right embarrassing! But that didn't stop us from having a good time...well, me...Chad was in a pretty bad mood after that! HA!
Overall we had a great weekend! I'm looking forward to a fresh starting week and all the new adventures that are headed this way!
Lots to do now so I can take this chick to the park later!
Chad and I have been married since May of 2007, but have been together since early college. We welcomed our beautiful daughter, Reagan Elizabeth, on June 5, 2010! We are so in love with her and are enjoying discovering the wonderful, scary, fasinating aspects of parenthood! We have amazing families and friends and are truly blessed.
