Anything & Everything

Just a little bit of everything for this blog update! Using bullet points cause who doesn't love a bullet!(that's for you Nic!)
  • Reagan has pink eye in both of her eyes..ugggh! I took her to the doctor Monday to get the drops, which might i add is like wrestling the WWF Champ to get even a single drop in her eyeballs!
  • Chad and I attended the Junior Women's Association Gala this past Saturday night! We had a great time, but I must say...I was just as excited about getting all dressed up as I was about even going! I got a spray tan, got my hair done and put on a snazzy new cocktail dress! For one night i didn't have spit up in my hair or clothes and actually felt like a pretty lady for a few hours! We of course had a great time with our double date..Ames and her roomie Andrea!
  • Also had our monthly playgroup last Saturday morning. A great time..as always! Our babies are getting so big! This is Rea proving she can fit in the toy basket!
  • A couple blogs ago I posted about my love for dry shampoo. Well I'm also a sucker for new products. While in Walgreen's Monday getting Reagan's eye drops I stocked up on my PSSST and saw a new brand. It's John Frieda's new dry shampoo. The bottle is about half the size of my usual Pssst (and slightly more $), but like I said I'm a sucker. Its called Anytime Volume Refresher!  Who doesn't need a refresher! I used this morning and I'm liking it! I believe I'm going to keep this in my purse for quick fixes since its a smaller, but smells great!
  • So I'm on my second round Reglan. Its a prescription medicine to help increase my milk supply. Yes, I'm still nursing and plan to continue to RE is one. (She's 9 months this Sat) Ive always had just enough milk but after being sick in January my supply started to dwindle. I also take a natural vitamin called Fenugreek (3pills, 3X a day) to help increase as well. During my first round of Reglan i developed Mastitis, a breast infection from nursing...NOT FUN ladies. So I had to go to doctor and get on a 10 day antibiotic to treat that. Even though painful you're supposed to nurse through the infection which i did. So now I'm trying the Reglan again. PLEASE WORK!
  • I love nursing Reagan. Especially that first feeding in the early morning. She's still so sleepy so she's calm. We just rock in the nursery, nurse and cuddle. She holds my hand while she eats and just stares at me. Its a very quite time. We don't talk much and its so peaceful. I LOVE this time. Much different from the afternoon feeding when she's everywhere! I will truly miss this though when it's time to wean.
  • This Saturday one of my playgroup Mommy's is hosting a Frilly Lilly Home show! I'm so excited about this. Frilly Lilly carries the MOST adorable boutique like clothes for girls and boys!
  • Chad has FINALLY finished the shed. Yep, you read correct! Its done! Built, painted and organized! Even hung up a baby swing on the front porch of it for his baby girl! She loves to swing!
  • Still running at 5:30am 3x a week! Still hard to wake up but loving the run and how it makes me feel when were done. Its an empowered feeling! Proud, accomplished!
  • Chad and I are having a little birthday cookout Saturday night for his Mama. Just some simple family time with good food and good family
That's about it for the Stocks' fam this week! Hope everyone has a great Wednesday!

XOXOX-
