Uncle Hunter and Aunt Kristen came to visit this weekend! We planned this out about a month ago and had been looking so forward to their visit. They arrived around 10pm Friday night and since Reagan had long been in bed we got in some good adult time before all the play began the next morning!
Saturday morning we took our time lounging around drinking coffee, playing with Reagan and just catching up.
Around noon we went to lunch at Winslow's, downtown, and then headed out to watch the opening weekend of Pirate Baseball.
The weather was so nice to be outside...a little windy, but oh so nice! We did a small tailgate and then headed in the game for a while. Reagan loved all the attention and excitement and before long was snoozing away in her stroller. Side bar...can i just tell you how much i LOVE our BOB stroller! Its amazing, whether your going for a jog, walking or just going to a baseball game!....
After the game we did a little grocery shopping at Fresh Market and headed back to the house to rest and play with the Jake and Chevy (the doggies!) and make sure they were behaving! Chevy isn't too used to sharing his backyard but always has sooo much fun when Jake comes! Saturday evening Reagan was pooped out from all the fun and actually went down about 6:45. A few friends stopped over and we moved our little party out to our usual spot..the garage!...opened a few bottles of wine, watched the boys shoot basketball and the ladies relaxed and gabbed! Hunter cooked our dinner which consisted of steak and chicken fajitas...oh sooo yummy and then we declared it "Catchphrase" time! Of course if was girls vs guys and I'm happy to report we did ourselves proud! We had a great laid back night and it was nice to have family and friends all mingling together!
Sunday we went to church...even though the men weren't feeling "too hot" but that was their problem! HA! Next out to lunch. Chad and I really enjoyed taking Hunter and Kristen to our church, especially since they wont be able to make it to Reagan's baptism in a few weeks and its always nice to share where you worship. Makes a town really feel like your home when you have a church to call "home". We spent the rest of afternoon hanging around the house talking, planning parties, trips and life and pushing Reagan on the "shed swing"! The Lunsford's left late afternoon to head back home to Charlotte. We had such an amazing weekend! Reagan loved spending time with her Aunt and Uncle, showing off all her new skills and toys! Family really is the best! We're so lucky to always have so much fun when we're together! Love y'all!
