'Run for the Booty 5K'

So this morning I participated in my first ever 5k! The original plan was to run the race with Reagan in the stroller along side my friend Nickie and her baby boy Cole, but the weather today was not ideal for a baby to be out in. I was bummed but it was the smart choice. I did very LITTLE training for the 5K and I knew that I would not be able to run the whole thing; after all i did just have a baby!! My plan was to play it by ear, but i figured I could run and mile then walk a mile and run the last one. But as the race started I felt really good and Nickie and I had great pace going so when I got to mile marker 2 and hadn't stopped yet I knew I could keep going! I finished the 5K in 38 minutes running to whole time! It's not like it was some amazing finish time but for me it was FANTASTIC! Plus we had a great time! To say the least I am very proud of Nickie and myself!
