Atlantic Beach Weekend

A few weeks ago Chad and I packed up for a weekend down at Atlantic Beach! Chad's Mom(Baba) has a friend who owns a house on the beach and offered it to all of us since it wasn't rented for that date. So off we went for a much needed change of pace! We were hoping that since this was Reagan's first trip to the coast that we would get some great pictures down on the beach, but it was so windy that we didn't even take her out there. Chad and I hung out on the house deck while Baba and Reagan took long beach naps and had some play time! Later that night after Reagan had gone down Chad and I had our first post baby date night. We went out to eat a little local spot down the road about a mile from the house. We were only gone about an hour and half and talked about the baby the whole time we were out! As soon as we got back I guess these crazy hormones took over again and I cried when I saw Reagan snoozing away, happy as could be! Seriously, the hormones are INSANE! Anywho, it was a great getaway and it was great that Baba could help us with Reagan so we could catch up on a little rest! Now we are so very excited for our annual Lunsford family beach trip to Pawley's Island in August! The beach really seemed to mellow us all out!
