Umm....Can We Say, M.I.A!

Sorry everyone, Ive been so MIA the past few weeks!! My blogging has totally gotten away from me and from the looks of my other blog friends I'm not the only one! Everyone's posts seem to be something around a "catch up" post! So glad its just not me and maybe the craziness of this time of year!

Anywho...What are we doing!?!?
Me:
I currently am in my second week of training out here in Tennessee. I am so lucky to be with such a great group of people who are making this time away from home much more bearable, but I am very homesick. I miss seeing Reagan so much and to be honest, when we Skype it actually just makes it harder. Especially when she's trying to hug me through the computer. But her and Daddy are doing just fine and I know that I will get to see them in less than a week now! Its definitely a lot of work here. Studying every night after class, homework assignments and stress levels are high in the training room. But we did manage to enjoy our weekend. Three great girls that Ive met here and I bought tickets to see the Rocketts at the Grande Ole Opry yesterday and had an absolute ball! We went early and had lunch and cocktails in Opry Land Hotel and the enjoyed the Christmas show! It was spectacular! I cant wait to take Reagan in a couple years! Later on, we headed into downtown Nashville for dinner and some honky tonkin!! Today we brunched and walked around the Vanderbilt area before heading back to tackle our weekend homework assignments. The past couple of days were a much needed break from the books, but back to reality we go tomorrow.

Chad:
He's home with Reagan playing Super Dad while I'm away! I'm so proud of him and anyone with kids knows that its NOT easy playing single parent! Chad's been so good about sending me pictures of Reagan everyday and keeping me informed of how she's doing at school and home, sleep and eat schedule and just being happy as she normally is. I'm ready to see my hubby too!

Reagan:
Dazzling us more and more these days with that little personality of hers! She really is becoming such a little girl and moving away from the baby stage, which I admit does make me sad. Her vocabulary is growing by the day and so is her understanding of what we say to her. She can find Jolly, our Elf on the Shelf, everyday in his new location and points with excitement when we ask her where he is! Reagan and Daddy are surely having fun while Mama's away:)

I'm ready to get home, love on my family, decorate the house for Christmas, go pick out our tree, take Reagan to visit Santa and just have a great holiday! In the meantime, I'm working hard here...after all...Santa's watching!
