Let's start a few weeks ago...
July 4th weekend was a ball! We spent Saturday with Reagan at the pool and then packed up and headed for New Bern to Baba's house. We grilled out Saturday night, just relaxed, enjoyed Reagan and some good family time! Chad grilled steaks for everyone and we ate on the back deck soaking in the nice weather!
Sunday Reagan stayed with Baba while Chad and I met up with friends and headed to SHACK for some Holiday Fun! Being out on the water was fabulous and we had an amazing day! And did I mention the food we ate!!! Fresh fried shrimp, soft shell crab, dolphin and bacon wrapped scallops and a good amount of boat beverages! All cooked right there on the beach! Really didn't need to be in a bathing suit after all that!
Last Friday we went back to Danville, VA for a quick one night family visit and to pick up our new SUV!
That Saturday we got back in Greenville rushed home changed clothes and headed to Cole's First Birthday Party at the country club pool! It was an adorable party! Swimming, hot dogs, cupcakes...need I say more! The decor Nickie did was so perfect, all primary colors and Cole did just fantastic! I'm so mad at myself that in all the rush to get to the party on time I forgot my camera!
I felt like this past week we didn't stop! We had so much going on! Wednesday night was Bunco, Thursday we did dinner with our friends Molly and Myers. Friday night we met the Dixon'sout for a quick dinner with the babies. (p.s..we've had better out to dinner experiences! Reagan and Cole were in rare form that night!)
Saturday morning Chad played golf while Reagan and I went and watched my cousin's tennis match. That afternoon we all attended Charlotte's 1st Birthday Party! It was Lilly themed and was hands down adorable! Everything was Lilly...the plates, cake colors, decorative poms, drinks, Lilly animal crackers for the babies and Charlotte and her super cute Mommy, Crystal even wore matching Lilly outfits! Reagan had a ball playing, dancing and of course doing what she does best...Eating!

We got a wild hair Saturday night and dinner with friends turned into a night on the town! SO much fun but man were we tired Sunday!
But that didn't slow us down!! Another pool day Sunday. Reagan and her little pool friend Lauren had much more fun snacking than they actually did swimming! We topped off the eventful week with a cookout last night at Molly and Myers house. Good thing Reagan likes to be on the go like her Mommy an Daddy!
Plus..one oh so special event happened when we got home from the cookout last night. Reagan and I were in the driveway playing in her push car. Chad walked out to join us and Reagan waved her hand and said "Hey Dada"!!! Her first real words! Chad and both just stopped dead in our tracks and burst into laughter followed by tears for me! Our little baby is growing up so fast and hearing her sweet voice say actual words melted our hearts while making us SO proud! What a special little girl we have! How lucky are we...thank you God!
Come to think of it...all we have done for the past 5 days is EAT! Good thing today is Monday..back to a good routine and back to running! All this "FUN" is going to catch up with my body!
